SENIOR BRUNCH
The last Tuesday of every month sees our senior citizens gather together with Pastor Cozart for a time in God’s Word, good food, and great fellowship. We are always happy to see new faces. Whether you are an "official" senior citizen, or just feel like one, it would be our pleasure to have you join us at 10 A.M.
Cedar Grove Snapshots
Fellowship among other believers is an important asset to every Christian. It provides the strength and encouragement that is needed to endure this worldly culture. Cedar Grove Baptist Church understands the necessity of communication with those with whom you attend church. We offer many opportunities to come together and enjoy one another's company, as well as a healthy dose of old-fashioned Southern hospitality. Our various meetings and fellowships occur anywhere from weekly to annually. Feel free to peruse through our list of activities.
COMMUNITY DAYS
Civil Servants Day - Every year in May we honor our men and women who selflessly serve in our communities as law enforcement, firefighters, and EMS. All civil servants that attend are recognized during the morning service as our guests of honor and are presented with a special gift. A meal is hosted afterwards to fellowship with and thank our first responders.
Fourth of July Celebration - Cedar Grove Baptist Church hosts a celebratory evening each summer to honor the independence of our great nation. The entire community is invited to come and enjoy an evening of food, fun, fellowship, and fireworks.

MEN'S AND LADIES' ACTIVITIES
"Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend." (Proverbs 27:17)
Interaction between our men and women is so vitally important to developing lasting friendships. While worship services at Cedar Grove are wonderful for meeting people, special time must be reserved to deepen relationships with our brothers and sisters in Christ. To meet this need, we schedule special men's and ladies' nights during the year. These consist of a trip to either Jackson or Meridian, where our people can enjoy a nice meal and activities together. In the fall, our ladies will go to a Ladies' Conference and our men will attend a Men's conference. The women of the church also gather on the second Tuesday of every month at 6 P.M. for Ladies' Circle, where they will have a time in Gods' Word and a special event.
COUPLES' ACTIVITIES
Our couples attend the Gulf Coast Marriage Retreat in Point Clear, Alabama each year. This romantic weekend getaway will allow husband and wife to spend time together and bring refreshment into your marriage.
In February of every year we have our annual Valentine's Banquet.
TEEN ACTIVITIES
At Cedar Grove Baptist Church, we believe that our young people are not the "Church of Tomorrow"; rather, they are the church of today. Teenagers are given plenty of opportunities to serve and fellowship in our midst. We have two teen Sunday School classes, "Trek" and "Journey" AWANA clubs on Wednesday night, along with numerous activities interspersed throughout the year. The Teen Xtreme Youth Camp in Pensacola, Florida, is an annual highlight for our Youth Department. We believe that wholesome events coupled with biblical training will produce a generation capable of standing for Christ in these latter days.
